Betting rules

Every wager in the experiment is graded by these rules. They are fixed for the season (2026 Founding Beta, rules version 2026.1) and published before the first wager.

Who can bet
Everyone enrolled in the season, while they have at least 1 credit available.
Stakes
1.00 to 100.00 credits per wager, never more than you have available.
Parlays
2 to 10 legs, each from a different game. No same-game parlays.
Maximum return
50,000.00 credits per wager. A slip that could return more is refused, not capped.
Prices
You bet the price shown on the board: for each market, the first of DraftKings, FanDuel and BetMGM that currently offers it. Prices are refreshed hourly and again shortly before kickoff.
Locked terms
The price and line you take are locked when your bet is accepted and used for grading, even if the line moves afterwards.
Cutoff
Betting on a game closes one minute before its scheduled start, by our server clock.
Price changes
If a price moved after you saw it, the bet is refused and the new price shown. Prices more than 90 minutes old can't be bet.
Moneyline ties
Two-way moneylines push (stake refunded) on a tie. Soccer moneylines are three-way, with Draw as an outcome.
Spreads and totals
Graded on the final score including overtime. Landing exactly on the line is a push.
Soccer
Graded on regulation time plus stoppage time.
Postponed and canceled games
Legs on them are void. A game without a final result 72 hours after the start time shown when you bet is void, even if it is played later.
Parlay settlement
Any losing leg loses the parlay immediately. Pushed and void legs drop out and the parlay pays on the rest; if every leg drops out, the stake is refunded.
Settlement timing
About 30 minutes after the final score is recorded, so early score corrections are absorbed.
Corrections
If a final score is corrected after settlement, the wager is re-graded and the difference posted as a correction. A correction can take your balance below zero; you can't bet again until it's positive.
No real money
Credits are imaginary. No deposits, withdrawals, purchases, prizes or cash value.
